Shri Vikramjit Singh Sahney along with the members of World Punjabi Organisation (WPO) and other eminent dignitaries celebrated the 101st Birth Anniversary of National Hero " Shaheed-E-Azam"Bhagat Singh" at Gymkhana Club- New Delhi on 27th September 2008 and released a book "Biography of Bhagat Singh" by the chief guest Dr. M.S. Gill - Minister of state for youth affairs and sports. Written by Prof. M.M. Juneja, the book is research oriented biography of Shaheed Bhagat Singh who kissed the Gallows heroically at the very tender age of 23 on March 23, 1931.

On this occasion, Shri Vikramjit Sahney, International President, WPO said that the memory of Shaheed Bhagat Singh will always be source of inspiration to people who are resisting those forces that are endangering the peace and harmony of our secular nation. The life and principles of Bhagat Singh should therefore be made the part of curriculum of our school programme throughout India.
